Samwoh Supports Regional Exchange on Smart Cities and Green Building Innovation
Singapore, 27 December 2023 — Samwoh Corporation Pte Ltd participated in a regional capacity-building initiative focused on advancing sustainable urban development, as part of the Singapore-United States Smart Cities Green Buildings Innovation Programme.
Amid growing global emphasis on climate change, the programme aims to facilitate closer collaboration and knowledge sharing between Singapore, the United States, and ASEAN countries through the ASEAN Smart Cities Network.
Conducted through the Singapore Cooperation Programme and facilitated by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the course brought together ASEAN government officials to deepen their understanding of smart city development and green building practices.
Through the programme, delegates explored practical solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of infrastructure and buildings with Samwoh Smart Hub as a case study. Key areas of focus included purposeful building design and the adoption of smart technologies to enhance energy efficiency and environmental performance.
Such learning engagements underscore the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in addressing climate challenges across the region.
