The feature highlights how the alternative pavement material, developed through joint research with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), PUB, National Environment Agency (NEA) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP), meets stringent standards for durability and environmental performance.
The innovation also contributes to improving local plastic recycling rates while reducing the burden on Singapore’s landfills, supporting the nation’s broader sustainability goals.
